Shivangini Yeashu Yuvraj works in the field of music as a vocalist, educator and arts administrator. Born and mostly brought up in Kanpur, she is settled in Delhi-NCR/Gurgaon, India.

With roots in Hindustani Classical Vocals, she is also trained in Western vocals (popular and contemporary). Shivangini was awarded the SPIC MACAY Gurukul Scholarship in 2007 and is the disciple of Late Padmavibhushan Smt. Girija Devi of the Banaras Gharana. She continued to learn under the late maestro. She has received rigorous training in the permutation based system of notes called Merukhand, under Dr. Gursharan Kaur of the Indore Gharana. She is also trained in Gurbaani, the Raga based systematic singing of verses from the Sikh Holy book, The Guru Granth Sahib and was the winner of the prestigious competition Anhad-Naad ’11 in the same genre. Shivangini has been performing in these genres, and many a times blending them artistically.

She holds a Masters degree in Indian (Hindustani) Classical Vocals, an English Honours from Sri Venkateswara College (Delhi University) and a Licentiate in Performance (LRSL) in Western Popular Music. Shivangini teaches music at Performers Collective School of Music, Gurgaon and also helps artists communicate in the Digital World
